About the event
NRITYA ULLAS — Chapter 3
Presented by Samvedan Kathak Studios under the direction of Guru Shri Deodatt Persaud, this annual Kathak festival is a heartfelt tribute by disciples to their Guru and to the timeless art of Kathak — one of India’s classical dance forms rooted in the Jaipur Gharana.
Throughout the year, students from different cities train rigorously in technique, rhythm, and storytelling, culminating in this live showcase — a celebration of dedication, artistry, and community.
This year’s NRITYA ULLAS 3 brings together dancers from Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Göttingen, Hamburg, Munich, and Nürnberg, accompanied by distinguished musicians:
